Island Investments, LLC is a collaboration of 2 local businessmen with reputations for designing quality residential communities. The Principals have collaborated on several of the premier golf course communities in the area, such as Brunswick Plantation and Lockwood Folly. Both Mason Anderson and George A. "Tripp" Sloane are natives of the area, and therefore, are intent on maintaining the atmosphere, which makes the South Brunswick Islands so special.
Mason Anderson is "Of Counsel" to the Anderson Law Firm PLLC of Shallotte and Sunset Beach, and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Law School. He has been deeply involved in the business and development of communities for more than 30 years. His companies have developed over 3,000 residential lots, single family homes, and condomiums.
Tripp Sloane is the co-owner and President of Coldwell Banker Sloane Realty with his sister, Debbie Sloane Smith. Their parents, George and Rae Sloane established the Company in 1955 on Ocean Isle Beach. The Sloane family has always had a strong commitment to the community. Tripp was a member of the Board of Directors of both the Chamber of Commerce and Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. He was also Chairman of the Brunswick County Tourism Development Authority.
